03 years age relaxation to candidates belonging to Scheduled casts, Buddist community, recognized tribes of the Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir, Northern areas, Sindh (R) & Balochistan.
15 years or number of years actually served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, Whichever is less for Released or retired personnel of the Armed Forces
10 years, upto the age of 55 years for Government servant who have completed two years of continuous service
10 years for disabled persons
05 years for son or daughter of deceased civil servant who dies during service
Upto 50 years for widow/ widower of a deceased civil servant who dies during service
Can a candidate apply for more than one category?
Yes he can apply for more than one category, subject to meeting eligibility criteria
Is there any relaxation for repeater candidate?
NO there is no relaxation for repeater candidate
Can a candidate apply on hope certificate for civilian induction?
No, the candidate should pass his degree before apply
What is Higher Formation & Lower Formation civilian?
Civilians of Higher Formation are inducted for NHQ Islamabad & Civilians of Lower Formation are inducted for PNCA Karachi

Yes, there are some categories for which practical/ trade tests are mandatory i.e UDC, LDC, DEO, MTD(Civ), Stenotypist, etc

Induction in BPS-16 & above is made through FPSC in PN as and when vacancies advertised in Newspaper.

What is a probationary period?
Newly inducted individuals are placed on probation for a period of one year to analyze their performance. During probation their services can be terminated at any stage without any notice/ correspondence. After successful completion of the said period the individual is retained in Government Servant
